The present study embodies the research carried out in the madrasas at the state of Uttar Pradesh India. It studies the literature of the traditional education in India to understand their roles in the advancement of Muslim students as well as todays modern education, including the role of governance. A detailed study of Sachar Committee and other reports are included while analyzing the problems of the community. This includes primary data in the form of interviews directly and through telephone facilities. Indicators of commonalities in all the madrasas are analyzed and presented in this book.
