Emily Gaddy received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2000. For the next eight years she pursued a career in banking. When her first child, Clare, was born in 2008, she put hercareer on pause to focus her energy on her family. Beyond instilling her children with a love for books and stories, Emily volunteers in her community, plays tennis, enjoys crafting, and loves to travel with family and friends. She lives in Gainesville, Georgia with her husband, Shane, daughter, Clare, and son, Emmett. After Emily's first book Go Bulldogs! was released in 2015, she began thinking about her second book. When Eli Ligon was diagnosed with Cancer, she knew her next book would be about Alabama. Eli has helped Emily with the Alabama traditions and included his family and friends as characters in Roll Tide Roll!. Eli has the biggest heart and personality. The community has fallen in love with and prayed for him. He is a true "Super Hero!" #pray4eli
