Autorenporträt
David Evanier is a prize-winning writer whose work has appeared in New York , The New Republic, The New York Times Magazine, and The Village Voice, among others. His previous books include Making the Wiseguys Weep: The Jimmy Roselli Story; Who's Sorry Now: The True Story of a Stand-Up Guy (with Joe Pantaliano); and The Great Kisser, a novel. Former fiction editor of The Paris Review, he has received the Aga Khan Fiction Prize, the McGinniss-Ritchie Short Fiction Award, and residence fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, and the Wurlitzer Foundation. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife.
