His publications include The Doctrine of God (IVP), Creeds, Councils Christ (IVP) and Biblical Interpretation: Past Present (IVP). He is also editor of 1-2 Corinthians and James, 1-2 Peter, 1-3 John, Jude in the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture.General editorThomas C. Oden recently retired as the Henry Anson Buttz Professor of Theology at The Theological School, Drew University, Madison, New Jersey. In addition to serving as general editor of the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture, he is the author of many theological works, including a three-volume systematic theology.
