Romans is the only church the apostle Paul wrote to that he didn't start. I believe this is why this book is so filled with doctrinal content. Peter tells us that Paul is sometimes difficult to understand. If Peter thought this then I don't feel so bad. I am not a bible scholar nor have I attended bible college. My learning has come from bible study, numerous commentaries, and an excellent bible teacher in my pastor and other men of our church.
