Luci Hollenkamp is very curious about everything. Sometimes that can lead to many different adventures. Luci has many nieces and nephews who keep her both young in spirit and seeing the world in a very different way through their eyes.What seems like a lifetime ago she did foster care for a while. It was both the hardest thing she has ever done, but also the best and most rewarding. Luci hopes she helped guide those kids. She is still in contact with the children and very much treasures the time she had with them. She has thought about writing a children's book for a long time. One of her sisters gifted her with a class on writing several years ago as a birthday gift, and that, along with several life experiences led her to finally put pen to paper and get it together.Some of the stories are from experience with the foster children, some are from stories growing up with many siblings, and some are just made up from her very vivid imagination!
