A South Sydney Rabbitohs fan since 2009, Jared Schnabl, a travel writer from New York, developed a love affair with the club after a visit to Australia in 2008. After a second visit to Australia in 2013, he went to his first Rabbitohs game, not to mention his first footy match, ever. It was from this experience that he was inspired to write his first bookthe one you are holding in your handsto give an American perspective of a magnificent subculture that is rather exclusive to Australia, not to mention the many adventures he had Down Under, courtesy of the Rabbitohs and their fans. Jared's passions and interests include pop-cultural history, rock music of the 1980s, world travel, rugby league, rabbits, and animated films.
