Autorenporträt
Nancy Rivest Green was born in Massachusetts, then moved to Arizona with her family. There she finished high school and attended the University of Arizona. She embarked on a 28-year teaching career, winning awards as a special education teacher and a school librarian. Life changed forever for her after living and teaching in Grand Canyon National Park with her ranger husband. Now retired and living on the edge of the Kaibab National Forest, she continues her love affair with nature and writing. Nancy's debut novel, On the Brink of Shards, a prehistoric adventure story set in the Four Corners region, won second place in the 2016 Arizona Authors Association Novel of the Year awards. Nancy's non-fiction work, Stalking the Wild Dragonfly: Stories of Experiences in Nature, chronicles her animal encounters while living at the Grand Canyon, and includes scientific research on each animal. Rosa Gets it Right is her first work for children.
