Autorenporträt
Becky Thomas loves to tell the stories about what happens on her farm called Peaches Place. Her passion for writing this book is because of her beloved Roscoe, who started out nice but ended up being the typical mean and bossy rooster. Your children will be encouraged and inspired as Roscoe the Rooster learns how to be kind and patient to others by overcoming his internal and moral obstacles with the help of his barnyard friends. Roscoe learns to be patient as his friends are kind and gentle as they respond to his impatient ways by showing forgiveness is necessary in restoring relationships. With years of experience as an elementary teacher working with children and an innate fondness for storytelling, Becky has combined her love for teaching children and her tenderness for animals to be captured in this timeless story. Drawing from her own experiences of living on her farm, she tells heartwarming stories that entertain and educate young children and parents for generations to come. Her stories carry a common theme of the invaluable lesson to treat others as one would want to be treated. Becky lives in Arlington, Tennessee with her husband, John Albert Thomas, and four children.
