Autorenporträt
Lexi Cherry comes from a family of writers which includes, most notably, Louisa May Alcott of Little Women fame, so it's no wonder she exhibited a knack for wordplay since she could talk. An educator for more than ten years and mother to three young children, Lexi is no stranger to imaginative play. She is a busy wife to husband Chris and mom to twin daughters who share her boundless creativity and love of reading and writing. If there's one thing Lexi knows, especially nowadays, it's how crazy a day at home can be with energetic little ones running around. Inspired by her own bi-racial heritage and the need for books with organic storylines about Black children, Lexi writes stories that feature multicultural characters yet resonate with families of all backgrounds.
