There was a time in my life when I was troubled on every side. For many years, I entertained the thought that I was sent to this world to suffer, but Jesus came and showed me that amidst adversity, a life of hope, joy, and peace is possible. I am alive today because of God's mercy and compassionate care. There was a time in my life when I was troubled on every side. For many years, I entertained the thought that I was sent to this world to suffer, but Jesus came and showed me that amidst adversity, a life of hope, joy, and peace is possible. I am alive today because of God's mercy and compassionate care. Like a rose among thorns, life does come with challenges of various sorts, but as the flowers bloom amidst the thorns, the sun rises night after night, the stars shine in the dark sky, so we too may flourish amidst the complexities of life and experience a blessed and fulfilled life. Roses Among Thorns is my message of hope. During most of my young adult life as a single mother of four young children, with God's grace guiding and directing my journey, I crawled, wept, and fought my way to victory. The Holy Spirit showed me how to use obstacles as steppingstones, and pain for my gain. It is impossible to change the past, but we can move forward to hopeful living with Jesus Christ.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Inspired and mandated by Jesus Christ, Marie R. Vaughan-Cadmus is a Bible teacher, an author, a motivational speaker, and a Counsellor-intern. She holds a diploma in Counselling Therapy, Community Health and Addictions, and Christian Ministry Counselling. The Holy Spirit has been using Marie's life to proclaim the message of healing and hope of the Kingdom of God. In 2011, Marie received an award for "Going the Extra Mile" for her dedication to creating a learning environment inside and outside the classroom. Marie is a missionary and worships at Bethel United Church Apostolic. She lives in Surrey, British Columbia, where she promotes spiritual education and advocates for mental health and awareness. For many years since childhood, Marie lived with emotional pain, distress, and despair, beginning with her father's death. Subsequent traumatic events of sexual abuse, rape, and emotional, verbal, and mental abuse led to years of depression and four attempts to end her life, which eventually led to a mental breakdown. Despite these life challenges, Marie lives to tell the story of how she rose to victory. Her journey of healing and recovery of emotional health and wellness began twenty-one years ago, in June 1998. Marie's mantra is hope for the broken-hearted and despair. She believes in a holistic approach to emotional healing. People can experience a blessed and fulfilled life if they trust their life entirely to Jesus Christ.
