Set against the backdrop of a ferocious storm in the Newcastle/Hunter Region of New South Wales, Rosie, her cousins and her grandparents become embroiled in a life-changing experience that begins in a derelict dairy on the banks of the Paterson River and takes them to the mighty halls of power in Parliament House, Canberra.
