Autorenporträt
Joyce Ann Evans is married to Richard Lee Evans Jr. and they have three wonderful children and one granddaughter. Joyce is employed at the Sunday School Publishing Board as the Associate Director of Creative Services. The highlight of Joyce's job is designing the Sunday school curriculum for ages two through eleven. Joyce volunteers as a Children's Teacher at the Mount Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Joseph W. Walker III. Joyce serves as a member of the Visual Communications Advisory Committee at Nashville State Community College, where she teaches Graphic Processes as an adjunct instructor. In the year 2000, God began to reveal His divine call into ministry. The FrootBearer(TM) Series Ministry was conceived. Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:7, Galatians 5:22-23, and John 15:5 became the ministry's foundational scriptures. In the years to come, God would use her talent for drawing and writing to take His Word around the world teaching families how to display Christ-like character. The FrootBearer-Character on Display Series(TM) of books are pint-sized parables exemplifying the character of Christ. Each parable is based on a scripture and illustrated in a fun, colorful, and innovate platform. Allowing parents the ability teach Sunday school principals anytime and anywhere. In 2006, Joyce published her first book, "A Granny Goodness Day." Over the next few years, Joyce published three other titles, "Rotten, but Not Forgotten," "Puffed-up Pride," and "Finish Line," as well as, four activity books, and designed a board game. In 2007, the ministry was interviewed on live television by Dr. Pauline Fuller from Atlanta's 57 (WATC TV 57). In 2011, Joyce introduced her first FrootBearer(TM) children's book app available through the apple store. Since then, she has published two more titles. Ensuring the vision of her ministry-Sunday school anytime, anywhere. In the winter of 2012, Joyce placed 1st in the Children's Interactive Book App Contest with "Puffed-up Pride." In the spring 2012, Joyce placed 2nd in the Children's Interactive Book App Contest with "Finish Line." In 2014, Joyce partnered with the FaithUnity paper to share a biweekly activity page featuring the Galatians 5:22-23 Gang(TM) with children all over the Nashville area.
