In his second book on Roxbury, noted historian Anthony Mitchell Sammarco shows the growth of this neighborhood from its early days as a farming town, to a bustling city, and later to a neighborhood known as Boston Highlands. Charlie Rosenberg, who took the contemporary photographs, has worked with Sammarco on several Then & Now books.
