Hillary Sussman has been a physical therapist for 23 years. After working with so many clients with disabilities, she was inspired by her dog, Roxy, who has undergone four surgeries, to use her story to help kids who are different to gain more confidence and overcome their physical limitations. Kids would identify with Roxy and realize, as she did, that they should not let those limitations stop them from having a full and exciting life. After writing her first book, Hillary knew that Roxy could continue to teach even more invaluable lessons to kids. This is Hillary's second book featuring Roxy's adventures, with the delightful pup once again learning something new, meeting new friends, and facing new challenges. This installment teaches kids a lesson about bullying, self-esteem, standing up for your friends, and the power of words. Originally from New York, Hillary lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, three children and dog. Her hobbies include jumping rope, traveling, and country music.
