Participating in the Boeing and BAE Royal bribery scandal he witnesses Saudi Arabia's 1980's installation of Chinese supersonic missiles and still secret warheads. Set against the background of the Middle East on the eve of the first Gulf War Royal Sand builds steadily to a dramatic and unexpected climax. The author lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for ten years. He was instrumental in the removal of Monsanto and Ford from the Arab blacklist, is President Emeritus of a major American Medical College, an Honorary Doctor of Science, flew solo to most countries of Latin America distributing the Washington Post News Service and newsprint for the company he headed, and was a syndicated journalist. Royal Sand is his third novel.
