A serving member of the Royal Navy, he divides his time between Bridlington and Hampshire.

Richard M. Jones is a British historian and author. Cretil the Cat is his first children's book. Julia Aliper is an artist and graphic designer. She lives in Ukraine with her family. This is their second project working together.
