The Research and Development of Ruthenium Organometallics(Ru OMC) emphasizes the survey of literature on Amide ligands,Ru(II)&Ru(III) precursors of current interest, aims and objectives and the systems investigated in the present research. Ru precursors were selected because of their structural, novelty and catalytic behavior. the increasing applications of Tryphenyl phosphines(PPh3) derivatives of Ru compounds as catalysts and starting materials in preparative chemistry insisted to select ruthenium precursors with phosphine ligands in particular and an amide ligands are formed because of diversified, coordinating behavior. This book mainly contains synthesis and characterization of Ru(II),Ru(III)OMC with coordinated ligands and their catalytic applications on selected pharmaceuticals, and are characterized by several spectroscopic techniques. the Ru OMC were selected to study catalytic activities based on the oxidation states of Ru availability of hydride ligands. Ru(III),Ru(II)OMC derived from their precursors are used in the applications of oxidation,reduction reactions on drugs containing alcoholic,nitro groups and also hydrolysis on drugs containing ester groups mainly.
