BRENDAN COWELL is an actor and writer. He won the prestigious Patrick White Playwrights' Award for Bed in 2001, and his play ATM was presented by the 2002 Sydney Festival. In 2003 he won the Griffin Award for Rabbit, which the company subsequently produced.
