Autorenporträt
Helmut Schmid is a graphic designer from Austria and studied under Emil Ruder, Robert Buechler and Kurt Hauert at the AGS (Basel school of design) in Switzerland. After working around the world, he settled as an independent designer in Osaka in 1981. Shmid has designed the brand identities for the Japanese hit drink "pocari sweat" in 1980 and the very successful "demisoda" drink for Korea in 1993.
