Johnny Marks composed "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" in 1949 and it became an instant hit. The song has been an enduring Christmas favorite ever since. Louis Shea was born to artist and art teacher parents, so he was always encouraged to pursue his creative talents. Louis studied graphic design at Newcastle University. This led him to freelance illustration; through which he began working with Scholastic Australia in 2006. Louis has written and illustrated many bestselling books for children, including the popular Australian series Where's Santa? and Where's the Easter Bunny?, among others. Louis's illustrations are much loved for his brilliant characters, ability to convey his hilarious sense of humor, and the incredible detail that keeps children and adults alike entertained for hours!
