Karen Ruben worked in family entertainment for over twenty-five years, primarily in marketing and promotions for Warner Bros., Disney, and Nickelodeon. As vice president of partnership marketing for Warner Bros. promotions agency, she managed tie-in promotions for the studio's Theatrical and Home Video divisions where she developed a keen insight into stories for the middle-grade market. RUFF Riders is her first book.
