Greece will be staging their inaugural domestic competition in 2006. There are 4 teams to kick the season off with players coming from England, Australia and New Zealand to help out. The primary aim will be to get the Athens populate playing rugby league. The Competition will run for 4-6 weeks with 2 games per week. The length of the competition will increase over time. It willbe fully sponsored by a major company based in Greece.
