Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It will elect one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The first time it will be contested is in the 2010 general election. According to the Boundary Commission Report, accessed 22 Jan 2006, the name of the constituency has a comma between "Ruislip" and "Northwood". This seat is the successor to Ruislip-Northwood. The seat is traditionally Conservative driven through the affluent population of Ruislip and Northwood particularly. However the influx of wealthy New Labour means the seat is at threat. Whilst the wealth of the towns remains influential, the population is one of new ideas and donations to Labour.
