Sally J. Ling is an author, freelance journalist and speaker. She is a special correspondent for the Sun Sentinel newspaper and her work has appeared in Boca Raton, Gold Coast, Boca Life, Delray Beach and Carolina Bride magazines. When not writing, she speaks to organizations and students about local history and writing. She lives in Deerfield Beach, Florida Her other books published by The History Press include: Small Town, Big Secrets: Inside the Boca Raton Army Air Field during WWII and A History of Boca Raton
