Shawn Fisher is an associate professor of history at Harding University, where he teaches American history and military history. Specializing in US military history during the Cold War, he has written articles for the Encyclopaedia of Modern Middle East Wars and has served as an article reviewer for the Journal of American History. He contributed to a compilation on a forthcoming history of Arkansas in the First World War. He has just completed his appointment as the Chairman of the Arkansas World War I Centennial Commemoration Committee in late 2018. He has written and published numerous books and games on the Second World War and related weapons technology.
