In the developing countries, rural electrification continues to face hardships because traditional solutions remain expensive for the very poor rural population. Thus, to combat late electrification, new technologies are needed when dealing with rural electrification. Pr. Alphonse Omboua born in 1959, is French speaker and professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Congo Brazzaville, Dept. of electricity. He received his PhD from the University of Liege (Belgium) in 2002. He received a post-gradual diploma in Ouagadougou in rural development energies. He is expert of rural electrification.
