Given the current contexts and based on the experience gained, it was observed that the need of many students and teachers is to seek other ways of solution to situations of coexistence and learning difficulties. Therefore, it was proposed to address emotional intelligence in teaching practice, since when talking about how children manage and regulate their emotions, they should have a teacher who reflects that position.It is important for teachers to understand that emotions are a fundamental part of human beings, since they determine their behavior. They are manifested through social adjustment, well-being and health of the individual.
