Russell is an unincorporated community in Pine Grove Township, Warren County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community is due east of the similar hamlet of Lander and lies at the intersection of U.S. Route 62 and Pennsylvania Route 957. It is drained by Conewango Creek. Despite not being recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau, radio station WQFX-FM, a station serving the Jamestown/Warren area, is licensed to and has its tower in Russell (though it is operated from Jamestown). Conversely, the local Calvary Chapel operates radio station WTWT from Russell, even though it is licensed to and broadcasts from an area further east.
