The dynamics of the global political process at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries is characterized by the development of a new model of international relations, the main dominant feature of which is the transition from confrontational concepts of global development to intensification of integration processes, creation of an effective structure of security systems at the global, regional, sub-regional and national levels, the use of political and diplomatic means as rational tools of international policy. In this context, there is a need to study security problems (as well as new forms of international cooperation) on geopolitical and regional levels, the need to analyze the impact of challenges and threats of global and regional nature on the formation and transformation of the main dimensions of multilevel security mechanisms. The category of "security" is among the most relevant and at the same time debatable topics of modern domestic and world science of international relations. Problems related to security and its provision are occupying an increasingly important place in the socio-political dialogue within the global community.
