Hunter Parker Price was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Georgia and Florida. He served four years in the United States Air Force as a security police officer in Guam, Panama, and Las Vegas. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago and works for the Chicago public school system. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and teaches high school English.
