Author-Illustrator Jillian Lee lives with her family and two dogs on the Connecticut shoreline and has a passion for training and development and all types of creative projects. Her debut book, "Rylee Finds a Family: a happy puppy tale," is a 2022 Tassy Walden Awards Finalist for New Voices in Children's Literature. The two book series, "Rylee's Puppy Tales" was inspired by her family's childhood pets who were known to snuggle up together and included a lovebird, rescue cat, rescue green-winged macaw, too many fish to count, and Rylee and Bell who are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Jill's first book was in the works for over a decade, but amazing feedback from kids of all ages, a health scare for one of her dogs, and a recent opportunity to be a mystery reader in her 1st grader's classroom, all helped to get this book over the finish line!
