Sabden is a village and civil parish in Ribble Valley, and the Forest of Pendle, Lancashire. It is south of Pendle Hill, in a valley about 3 miles (4.8 km) northwest of Padiham. The 2001 census, it had a population of 1,371. Sabden became a civil parish in 1904, when it was formed from the township of Heyhouses, and parts of the parishes of Pendleton, Read, Wiswell, Goldshaw Booth, and Higham with West Close Booth.
