Robert West Jr. was born to Dr. Robert West Sr. and Dr. Linda Jones-West in a small Mississippi town. From the beginning of his life, he knew he was destined to serve people. As he participated in different activities, organizations, church functions, and community service projects, his service resume began. His inspiration for writing this book or was to help people realize what took him several years to accept: he was created to serve. His wife, Pia Green-West, and daughter, Linbethany West, drive the service journey.
