From 1977 to 1989 Father Pius D'Souza was the parish priest. In 1987 the parish was home to more than a thousand Catholics or 25 percent of the town's people. From 1989 to 1995 the parish was run by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Pakistan. The Holy Family Sisters also run St. Albert's School in Gojr.
