Keith began his writing career at 18 when he entered a local playwriter's competition in Baltimore with a play called "A Lifetime of Changes". From there, he commenced his writing journey through short stories like "Crossbones", which he would enter in various competitions for prize money. With his eyes set on grander things, he wrote a screenplay entitled "The Final Confrontations", which he later adapted into his masterpiece, "Sacrificial Lambs".
