Nanning felt more like a joy to me than a job. Although I have been a professional dancer, a health club owner and a wellness coach, my greatest joy was raising my sons and being around my granddaughters. So, I decided to try nannying. I cared for two babies at once in a "nanny share", which added another dimension of humor, love and yes, chaos. Witnessing these beautiful creatures, just months old, discovering themselves and their environment with such presence and innocence was truly humbling, and filled my heart with joy and love. Not to mention the fun of watching them interact with each other which was a laugh a minute! The love and wonder I feel for these babies, as well as my own granddaughters, and the personalities of these sweet creatures themselves motivated me to write children's books, or more accurately books for babies and toddlers. I'm sure if you have children or grandchildren you will recognize the feelings I take you through in my book, You're The One, laugh at the antics of Gracie and Sammy, and cuddle close for Safe and Loved.
