El profesor SambasivaRao ha estado enseñando antropología biológica en la Universidad de Andhra, India. Ha publicado 50 artículos en revistas nacionales e internacionales. Su área de investigación es la salud reproductiva e infantil y la antropología fisiológica. Los coautores G.Lakshmi y RS Sravani están realizando una investigación sobre el RCH de las tribus indias.
