Divided into two sections, it covers the essentials of all work with children and families, and offers guidance on the process of safeguarding children. The book guides professionals through the processes of identifying and reporting child abuse and details of what happens at each stage. Although aimed primarily at social workers, the book takes a multi-disciplinary approach, and is of use to those in related professions.
