Ekemini A. Effiong est le premier étudiant de première classe en conception de théâtre au Nigeria (2015). Il est le premier diplômé de première classe du département des arts du théâtre de l'université d'Uyo en 25 ans. Cela lui a valu de devenir assistant diplômé. Il espère obtenir un parrainage pour poursuivre ses études en conception et technologie théâtrales au Royaume-Uni, aux États-Unis ou en Allemagne.
