Jacqueline Manley, a native Coloradoan, resides in northwest Colorado with her husband, John, one dog, Maggie, and two cats, Maddie and Puck. They have one daughter, Bridget. Jacqueline has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and History from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University) In Pueblo. She spent two years in USC's Army ROTC program, from which she received the National Association of the United States Army History Award for "excellence in the study of Military History." She has one published article in the Denver Post Empire magazine about a German prisoner of war camp in Fraser, Colorado during World War II, and is currently doing research on the American Expeditionary Force in Siberia, where her grandfather served with the 27th Infantry in World War I. She has one brother in the Army reserves, two other brothers and a sister, as well as her parents. She is also a trauma survivor. This is her first novel.
