Autorenporträt
Paul Rabbitts has more than 20 years of experience in designing, managing, and restoring urban parks across the UK. As a qualified Landscape Architect and current Head of Parks for a SE Local Authority, he is also a published author and regular contributor to journals and periodicals. Currently head of parks for Watford Borough Council, he is also project director for the £6.5 million restoration of Cassiobury Park, as well as an author on books on Regent's Park, Richmond Park, the royal parks, and bandstands, on which he is acknowledged as a UK expert. Carole O'Reilly is Senior Lecturer in Media & Cultural Studies at the University of Salford. She obtained her MA in Art and Architectural History from University of Leeds and was awarded a PhD in History from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on urban heritage and history. She has published in journals such as Landscape History and Urban History, and she is the author of The Greening of the City: Urban Parks and Public Leisure 1840-1939.
