Autorenporträt
Shain Stodt was born in New York City. Her first children's book, Sally Mitts Finds Home, won a Golden Wizard Book Prize, The Literary Titan Book Award, and A Purple Dragonfly Award.¿ Her second book in the series, Sally Mitts And The Land Of Imagination, has won a Golden Wizard Prize and The Literary Titan Book Award in pre-publication.¿She now lives in rural North Carolina with six rescue cats, and has many animal friends in the woods around her home. She's working on the next Sally Mitts story while listening to the birds sing and the wind in the leaves.
