Betty Newman Wauer, a seventh generation Texan, passed away in April 2013 She was a member of both The Descendents of Austin's Old 300" and "Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She was extremely proud of her ancestors, especially the Texas Rabbs She wrote a family newsletter called The Texas Rabbs for eight years with an average of seventy five subscribers per year.
