Salmon in the Seine is Norris's first book. Between gigs at sea, the Pacific Northwest-based author writes for magazines and the highest bidder. He holds a B.S. in Marine Science, won five Boat Writers International awards, received honorable mention for the annual Writer's Digest writing competition, and was a contestant on Season 5 of the Norwegian Reality TV show, Alt for Norge.
