The experiment was laid out in factorial completely randomized design with twenty four treatment combinations and three replications, involving two soils, three different levels (0.5 cm, 1.0 cm and 2.5 cm) of post biomethanated spentwash and four different levels (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0) of leaching with water at the rate of pore volume of soil. The application of post biomethanated spentwash 2.5 cm and leaching with water at the rate 2.0 pore volume of soil increased the soil fertility level of sodic soil by decreasing SAR and ESP values, however in leachate water more amount of cations and…mehr

The application of post biomethanated spentwash 2.5 cm and leaching with water at the rate 2.0 pore volume of soil increased the soil fertility level of sodic soil by decreasing SAR and ESP values, however in leachate water more amount of cations and anions were observed, but they were below critical limit. Hence for improvement of soil fertility of normal and sodic soils, one time leaching with 2.5 cm post biomethanated spentwash along with water at the rate 2.0 pore volume of soil is suggested.
