Helping people is not about being busy doing what others want or need. God's ultimate desire is to see every one of his children in relationship with him, and on their way to heaven. This book, Salvation Through the Gift of Help, shows how helping other people God's way not only saves them from their current predicament, but leads to their eternal salvation. God chooses to work through those of us here on the ground level. We are the tools in his toolkit when he answers a call for help. With stories from the Bible and life today, this book will motivate you to become a tool in God's hands so that his gift can lead to salvation. Autorenporträt
Sandra Joy home-schooled her children 30 years ago, "Back in the day, when I had to write my own programs and have them approved by the Department of Education". Since then, she has written programs for K-6 PDHPE, K-1 teaching, Sunday School and Scripture classes. She also coordinated kids' camps, craft lessons and holiday programs. Volunteering in classes such as these gave her the practical application of program implementation and the chance to trial her plans. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English & Writing. Sandra now enjoys craft activities, adventures and reading to her seven grandchildren. Believing that children like to help those around them, Sandra has drawn on her experience with children to create the Happy Helper series of children's books.
