Princess Gordon-Aziz, Ed.D., is an educator and local church historian. She has taught in both public schools and in higher education. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Fisk University and a Master's of Education and Doctor of Education from Tennessee State University. She is a former journalist, having served on the editorial board of The Tennessean newspaper and the World Desk of USA TODAY.
