Originally from Italy, I embarked on a transformative journey alongside my husband Andrea that led us to the vibrant shores of Australia in 2013.At the young age of 7, I wrote my first poem, using words that echoed the quiet moments of my days at home, battling viruses and germs. As time went on, my creativity blossomed. I started making Christmas presents for my family, each accompanied by a poem that captured the warmth of my affection.Growing up, my poems transformed, capturing the intensity of first love, self-discovery, and the intricate emotions we weave. With my bandmates, I transformed lyrics into melodies, setting my feelings free through songs.But with time, something changed. The responsibilities of adulthood dimmed my perspective. The routine cast shadows over my creative spirit, until an extraordinary shift arrived in the form of my son.Through his innocent eyes and unwavering curiosity, my son relighted the magic I thought was gone. Ordinary life turned into a treasure chest of wonder and laughter.Our shared stories gave birth to "The Rocking Pen by Laura," a shelter where tales flourish. I didn't hesitate to ask my sister-in-law Noemi for help in bringing my stories to life.
