We also have a few dangerous desert plants in Arizona. Then there are the six large carnivores that call Arizona home, three of which I have never seen in person in all of my wandering.

Autorenporträt
C. G. Thompson was born on a poultry ranch owned by his father and grandfather just outside of Amarillo, Texas, in January 1945. Eight years after his grandparents died, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In fifth grade, he found his first love-the study of nature. Since then, he has collected and kept several kinds of creatures-now counting 204.At age 43, he began writing stories covering several topics from science fiction to natural science. He started teaching about nature in the 1980s and 1990s using his characters and a radio program as his classroom.
